Endicott is at the western end of route 40, past Ferrum. This rural section of the county became rather famous (infamous) for moonshining activities in the past. Most of what you will find up here are farms and logging operations.
Endicott is also home to the Dry Hill Draggers. Who became famous when they played at the Worlds Fair in 1982 & are still togeather making music.
